The information services accessible through the ScotLIS pilot have been placed in a three tiered structure to enable users to identify the different classes of services available from various sources. The top tier provides a list of organisations providing interactive services through a managed web service. Each of these organisations provides information on the nature of their services in a "splash" page that provides the link to their site. The second tier provides a list of organisations that provide internet based information services and on-line ordering of information services.
